How to Use JioFi

1. Step:- Take the Jio SIM card which was given to you when you bought the device. Insert it into hotspot’s SIM tray.

2. Step:- Note down the SSID and password of the unit which is listed next to the SIM tray.

3. Step:- Insert the battery and plug it into the charger and let it charge for some time.

4. Step:- Press the Power button on top of the JioFi, until the display lights, light up.

Jiofi device has many lights which show different network situation in your area, these lights are very helpful to know about your jioFi.

JioFi Green Light

The green light shows that your area has good network coverage, that means that the speed of your Jiofi will have a good internet speed.

JioFi Blue Light

The Blue Light of Jiofi means that your area does not have a good network coverage as compared to JioFi Green Light.

JioFi Red Light

The Red Light of JioFi means that your JioFi is not getting a sufficient amount of network. Or your does not have a good network coverage. The Red Light is not considered good as compared to Green and Blue Light.

  • First, open the back cover of your Jio Fi device and reinsert the active Jio sim on the device.
  • Second, Check that you Jio Fi device is charged.
  • Third, Check whether the device is on or off.
  • Fourth, If the device is on check the wifi of your phone it is on or off.
  • Fifth, The phone is connected or not.
  • Sixth, check the network on the Jio Fi device. If it shows red or blue light on the signal this means that you are in a low network area. Try shifting to a different place for network coverage.

1. Step:- Turn on the Jio Fi device.

2. Step:- Open the back cover of the device.

3. Step:- Do not remove the battery of the device let it be on.

4. Step:- Now, search for the reset written on the back.

5. Step:- Press the button using the sim ejector tool or with the pin.

This will rest your Jiofi device to the factory setting now you will have to reconfigure your device.
