Flipkart Planning to launch Video Streaming service to take on Amazon Prime and Netflix

Flipkart is planning to introduce its Video Streaming platform in India in the coming months. To give a fight to Amazon Prime, Netflix, MX player and Hotstar. They come along with there membership plans like other Streaming Services.

The content available in the upcoming Streaming services of Flipkart is a mix of short films, full-length movies and episodic series. The company was in discussions with the content makers to expand the library.
The report further suggests unlike Amazon Prime video, Hotstar. Flipkart would not offer any Orignal Series in India.

Instead, it would provide licensed content from video streaming platforms such as Walt Disney. The company, although could add in house content later.
Aside from the original content, the Flipkart video streaming platform is better the others in terms of the Subscription Fee. The Charges of Amazon yearly subscription fee is of Rs 999 and a monthly fee of Rs 129 for its Prime membership.

The Flipkart Plus video streaming service will be free just like other loyalty programs. And the Shows was also provided in different languages in India.
The video streaming service [Flipkart Videos] will be ad-supported and the customer can easily become a member of Flipkart loyalty program by just collecting 300 Supper coins.
